Globe 24-7 welcomes Mike Mitchell to the team
Globe 24-7 is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Mitchell as Principal Consultant in our Toronto office.
Mike, a Human Resources Executive and Certified Human Resources Professional, has broad experience in all aspects of human capital management in base and precious metals mining in Central Asia, East & West Africa, the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region. His expertise includes turnaround initiatives, new operation start-up logistics, mergers, acquisitions and joint venture operations.
Mike has held senior Human Resources & Administration roles with multi-national resources companies including INCO (Vale), British Petroleum (BP Canada), Centerra Gold and Barrick Gold, amongst others. Most recently, Mike held the role of Vice President, Human Resources for AngloGold Ashanti’s Ghana operations in West Africa.
Globe’s traditional client base is within mining houses and junior miners, ramping up operations: covering the full organisational structure, with a focus on emerging markets. The appointment of an HR and Mining expert forms part of Globe’s strategy to support the entire resources space, with robust expertise; allowing our continued organic growth into the Americas.
