HR Management for a new expatriate workforce in preparation for operational readiness of Gold Mine in West Africa. Delivered a comprehensive HR Management Plan supporting major HR policy areas whilst covering a wide variety and far-reaching recruitment campaign that led to the successful appointments of key personnel both at site and corporate Head Office.
Permanent Placement and International Labour Hire – Blutip required a variety of professional and qualified staff to be sourced to assist with their global growth strategy throughout Australia, Latin America and Africa including Technical, Business Development and Technician-level roles.
Management and Technical Recruitment – SEK required 10 – 20 expatriate positions to be sourced ranging from Procurement, Training, Finance, Logistics, Maintenance (Planning, Electrical, Mechanical) and Metallurgy. Large Scale Recruitment Program – To deliver their project on schedule, Bureau Veritas had to hire a total of 328 professionals of which 180 were engineers and geologists with mining backgrounds. On-site Recruitment Process Outsourcing Project – In eight months, Globe 24-7 developed internal recruitment procedures, provided training, set up a new ATS and sourced 212 personnel for Thompson Creek’s Mt Milligan copper/gold mine, in remote Northern BC, Canada.
Master Vendor Assignment – With 170+ roles required, Globe 24-7 was selected as the Master Vendor to manage expatriate recruitment for the multi-billion development of the world class iron ore deposit at Tonkolili and its related rail and port infrastructure.
